TP-Link Systems Inc. is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to own the mechanical system architecture for next‑generation consumer networking and smart home products.

You will guide internal teams and external suppliers from concept through high‑volume manufacturing to ensure robust, production‑ready designs. You will drive design for manufacturability, create 3D CAD/data, manage BOMs, and support prototype builds across EVT/DVT/PVT, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of mechanical/product design experience in consumer electronics or electro‑mechanical products.
• Strong proficiency with PTC Creo; independently produce release‑ready CAD, drawings, and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive product‑level mechanical system architecture, including layout, part breakdown, construction strategy, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with Industrial Design to translate design intent into manufacturable solutions.
• Define mechanical interfaces with Electrical/Hardware Engineering including PCB outline and mounting.
• Support thermal/EMI mechanical integration and grounding across tolerance/assembly variation.
• Plan prototype builds and validation and drive issue closure across EVT/DVT/PVT stages.
• Lead supplier/toolmaker engagement and tooling iterations with CM/CMs.
• Drive DFM/DFA decisions across manufacturing processes including cost/schedule trade‑offs.
• Maintain documentation, release drawings/BOMs, and manage ECOs.
