Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Perry, Ohio is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who can work independently to identify and execute tasks that support Vistra objectives. The role includes gathering and analyzing information for Vistra initiatives and developing strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Mechanical Engineer frequently works independently to identify and perform tasks as required to met Vistra objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

• Identifies and performs task as required to meet objectives
• Lead interpretation and analysis of complex issues
• Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion
• Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Prepare and present reports including recommendations to resolve complex issues
• Participate in and on occasion lead special project and committees including external organizations
• Lead complex problem - solving efforts

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

• 4 yrs. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred, Civil, Nuclear) from an accredited program.
• Minimum 6 yrs. relevant job experience
