Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements. This role involves working collaboratively with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions in the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components using AutoCAD and other engineering software.
• Ensure compliance with ASME standards and practices in all engineering designs and documentation.
• Create and review P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) for various projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Conduct stress analysis and fluid mechanics evaluations to validate design integrity and performance.
• Support the engineering team during project execution, providing technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities.
• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation and reports.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or PE (Professional Engineer) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other mechanical design software.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of ASME standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with P&ID creation and interpretation.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, mechanical design principles, and stress analysis is a plus.
