Overview

A leading packaging manufacturer specializing in liquid filling machinery is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its team at the main plant south of St. Petersburg, FL, near Sarasota. They make equipment for markets including food, beverage, Home Goods, Pharmaceuticals, Health, and Beauty. This role involves developing new equipment lines while handling modifications of existing lines. Expect to handle both R&D and Project Management responsibilities depending on the customer’s needs. You will be one of two mechanical engineers, with two control engineers who round out the Engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Develop new equipment lines and modify existing lines.
• Handle R&D and Project Management responsibilities as required by customers.
• Collaborate as part of a small engineering team (two mechanical engineers and two control engineers).

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has solid experience in 3D CAD software and has worked in automation and manufacturing.
• Experience designing motion solutions and automation equipment for manufacturing is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
