Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a similar Engineering Technology degree.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years’ experience as a mechanical or product engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably with an engineered-to-order product.
• Familiarity with product data management software and development of bill of materials.
• Technical knowledge of valves and valve products
• Familiarity with ASME Codes and Standards.

Responsabilités

• Review customer specifications and develop comprehensive design proposals for a variety of valve applications.
• With CAD produce models and detailed manufacturing drawings from concept sketches and legacy drawings
• Provide technical support to internal company departments such as quality, manufacturing, sales, and purchasing.
• Troubleshoot and support shop floor activities varying from material defects to valve assembly and testing.
• Prepare procedures (assembly, testing, qualification, etc.) and perform stress analysis for products and materials.
