Job summary

Terrestrial Energy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Analyst to join our team in Bryan, Texas. You will focus on the design and analysis of IMSR reactor systems and components, contributing to advanced nuclear technology development.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering and experience in modeling, ideally within nuclear applications. This role includes a unique opportunity to thrive in a fast-growing company at the forefront of clean energy solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in mechanical and materials modelling and analysis.
  • Strong theoretical understanding of underlying mechanics of materials.
  • Experience with computer programming for data pre/post processing.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the design and analysis of IMSR reactor systems.
  • Developing custom Engineering models for reactor materials.
  • Conducting literature and operating experience (OPEX) reviews.
