The Bexar Company in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to lead new product development for electrical equipment such as control panels and switchboards. You will drive designs from concept through prototyping and production, applying CAD tools and practical fabrication know-how.

You’ll collaborate across manufacturing and engineering teams, create detailed drawings and BOMs, and develop test plans to validate performance and manufacturability throughout the product

Qualifications

• BSME degree required.
• 2–5 years in new product development.
• At least 2 years Creo or similar CAD experience.
• DFM and DFA design experience.
• Sheet metal design experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead mechanical design for new products, including control panels and switchboards.
• Develop design concepts using Creo or SolidWorks.
• Create trade-off studies for performance, cost, manufacturability.
• Plan and manage engineering projects with milestones and budgets.
• Create drawings, BOMs, and ECNs, and develop prototypes and test plans.
