Veeco Instruments Inc. in Horsham, PA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Motion Systems (CIP) to lead design of wet-processed chambers and related subsystems for advanced semiconductor applications.
You will perform FEA, CAD modeling, and support cross-functional teams through prototypes toward production. The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in capital equipment, familiarity with SEMI standards, and hands-on prototyping.

Veeco’s Precision Surface Processing (PSP) division creates advanced wet processing systems for next-generation semiconductors fueling AI, advanced packaging, and high-performance devices. As a Mechanical Design Engineer focused on chamber development, you will own the design of critical subsystems that operate in aggressive chemical environments—bringing cutting‑edge concepts from architecture through validation to production. This highly visible role is core to Veeco’s Engineered‑to‑Order product strategy, enabling breakthrough device architectures at leading fabs worldwide.
BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in capital equipment design or an MS degree with 3+ years of experience is required. Experience developing chambers or components operating in chemical process environments is preferred.
The expected salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job‑related factors when determining your pay.
