JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) focuses on cutting-edge projects in Mission Critical, Advanced Industries, and Industrial & Manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities - Core

• Participate in safety and quality initiatives, promoting an injury-free environment.
• Perform routine mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities.
• Assist in developing budget estimates using automated M/E estimating systems.
• Review mechanical and electrical options during preconstruction and analyze systems for projects.
• Develop scopes of work, assist in bid processes, and participate in subcontractor selection.
• Contribute to sequencing, constructability reviews, and job inspections to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Support the shop drawing/submittal process and assist with commissioning activities.

Additional Responsibilities - ME Engineer 2

• Help generate and execute the Commissioning Plan.
• Engage with project teams and clients professionally.
• Review compliance shop drawings, lead coordination, and participate in all construction phases.
• Develop schedules, perform site inspections, and contribute to bid and scope development.
• Participate in the commissioning process, including testing procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2+ years of construction and/or engineering experience.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction management methods and collaboration skills.
