YOUR ROLE

  • Researching and analyzing data including customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
  • Designing products or systems for robotic control using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic principles and components.
  • Participating in fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
  • Coordinating operation, maintenance, and repair activities that optimize utilization of machines and equipment.
  • Designing products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software.
  • Evaluating field installations and recommending design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 3-4 years Mechanical Engineering related experience.
  • 3-4 years of machine & product design experience using Solid Works, Pro-E, or Catia.
  • Proficient design skills in CAD/SolidWorks software.
  • Must have experience in finite Element Analysis.
  • Experience using hand calculations of stresses.
  • Must have experience with GD&T.
  • Proficient in using math software like Matlab or Mathcad.
  • Familiar with failure modes and effects analysis.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of software development.
  • Familiar with Systems; Heavy Equipment; Hydraulics; Gearing and Motor.
