You will interface with customers, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to meet milestones, define assembly line and equipment needs, design test fixtures, and perform failure analyses to drive design changes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field with 3 years experience.
• 2 years experience in FEA using ANSYS for modeling and part design.
• Product design experience for medical devices.
• SolidWorks for developing concepts and detailed engineering drawings.
• Tolerance stack-up analyses.
• FMEA, DFSS & DFM tools and implementation.
• Developing production control/sampling plans and test protocols.
• Root cause and failure analysis to drive design changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototype and product designs and create documentation for design reviews.
• Interface with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to meet milestones.
• Define assembly line and equipment requirements and propose design improvements.
• Design test fixtures and perform failure analyses to validate designs.
• Support legacy products in production and benchmark designs to stay competitive.
