Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical design experience with hands-on manufacturing exposure.
• Ability to translate scientist needs into clear engineering specs.
• Experience assembling hardware and working with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and build of lab automation systems from concept to installation.
• Layout core lab systems including gloveboxes, furnaces, presses, deposition equipment.
• Produce CAD drawings and design documentation with GD&T.
• Assemble hardware hands-on and manage subcontracted manufacturing.
