Job summary

Qualifications

• Robust experience designing and building mechanical systems outside the classroom.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and mechanical analysis.
• Automation experience with actuators and microcontrollers (e.g., Raspberry Pi).

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts from requirements and evaluate tradeoffs.
• Design parts and assemblies using CAD and sound engineering principles.
• Build and test prototypes to gain quick learnings and prove reliability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Zipline teams and suppliers.
• Document design decisions for clear communication.
