Heidelberg Materials AG is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role combines office work with field activities and includes hands-on maintenance support of cement terminal equipment.

The intern will assist in inspections, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis while collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to drive process improvements and safety initiatives. This paid internship offers in-person events and summer PTO holidays.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Support mechanical maintenance and reliability projects for terminal equipment.
• Assist inspections, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical systems.
