Job summary

Arconic Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineering student for a hands-on role at Davenport Works. The intern will shadow engineering groups, work on real-world mechanical systems, and complete assigned projects while preparing a mid-summer presentation for teams across the organization.

Basic qualifications include enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s program and U.S. work eligibility. Export control considerations apply, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position requires access to controlled technology under export regulations; government authorization may be required.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist Engineering groups throughout the Plant.
• Research and complete projects as assigned.
• Experience hands-on learning through real-world mechanical systems.
• Develop a mid-summer presentation to include project findings and solutions to teams across the organization.
