Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) invites undergraduates in mechanical or architectural engineering to join our Charlottesville office as a Mechanical Engineer Intern for Summer 2027.

You will contribute to energy-efficient building projects and learn from experienced professionals on real assignments. Ideal candidates are ABET- accredited program students, with at least three years of coursework (junior standing), a GPA of 2.5 or higher, and demonstrated leadership in student activities.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering program from ABET accredited school.
• Completed 3 years of coursework or have a junior standing.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations.
