Job summary

Clark Nexsen is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to design and lay out HVAC, plumbing and related systems for Commercial and Government facilities in Raleigh, NC. 5+ years of experience and a Professional Engineer licensure are required; in-office work with possible hybrid scheduling.

The role involves client meetings, coordination with multiple disciplines, and producing design development and construction documents using Revit and other tools.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience designing HVAC systems for buildings.
• Professional Engineer licensure required; active membership in NSPE/ASHRAE/ASPE is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, engineering, analysis, equipment selection and layout for mechanical systems in buildings.
• Meet with and present to clients.
• Coordinate with design team for proper integration of disciplines.
• Prepare project deliverables from programming to construction documents.
• Provide bid support and construction phase services including on-site coordination.
• Coordinate with commissioning professionals as required.
