MXI Partners in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design and deliver mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection solutions for commercial and mission-critical projects. You will own tasks from analysis to construction documentation, reporting to the Regional Engineering Manager.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform field surveys, and ensure design integrity. The role requires hands-on sizing, equipment selections, and office presence at least two

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• FE certification or ability to take FE exam; LEED accreditation preferred.
• 2+ years mechanical design experience, including HVAC air side and/or plumbing construction documents.
• 2+ years each in load calculations, pressure drop calculations, and Revit.
• 1+ year preparing basic HVAC or plumbing equipment selections.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, and be in the office at least two days a week.

Responsabilidades

• Support small to large design projects and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Run field surveys, document existing conditions, and research codes and standards.
• Prepare engineering analysis, calculations, preliminary and detailed designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Work with vendors on equipment selections.
• Complete design quality control checklists and flag scope changes to managers.
• Build the skills to direct Engineer I staff and designers.
