Job summary

Acara Solutions seeks a Mechanical Engineer 2 to design, analyze, and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging solutions. You will work with cross‑functional teams, review designs, support testing, and drive concepts from design to prototype development.

Responsibilities include CAD modeling, feasibility studies, design reviews, and contributing to validation and product development initiatives. On-site work is expected with a collaborative engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 2+ years of experience with 3D CAD modeling, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• 2+ years of experience applying GD&T principles, mechanical drafting standards, and mechanical design analysis.
• 2+ years of experience supporting testing, validation, troubleshooting, and cross‑functional engineering collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems, components, equipment, and packaging solutions.
• Create and review 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• Conduct feasibility studies, testing activities, and prototype evaluations.
• Participate in design reviews and communicate technical tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Support troubleshooting, validation, and ongoing product development efforts.
