Austin Circuit Design is seeking a CAD/Mechanical Design Engineer to drive product development using CREO, designing parts and assemblies and validating drawings to meet stringent quality standards. You will create documentation, use a top-down design approach, and perform interference checks to ensure proper fit across the full product portfolio.
Strong CAD experience and familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes are essential.
Reports to VP of Engineering, Program Manager, and Senior Technical Account Manager
Product development using CREO covering the full portfolio of ACD’s products and services to achieve revenue targets
Designing parts and assemblies
Creating drawings to document part and assembly design
Validating part and assembly design
Top-Down design methodology
Use Interference Check to validate the fit of parts and assemblies
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience
Minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience
Knowledgeable of electronic manufacturing methods, quality, and workmanship standards
SolidWorks training
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, & Access)
Experience in consulting CATIA and ENOVIA drawings
