Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in Nashville seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to design and document high-performance HVAC systems for complex facilities. You will translate concepts into robust engineering solutions, working with project partners and field teams.

In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria and interpret and utilize information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.

Expertise of our most successful Mechanical Engineer II
  • BSAE or BSME required.
  • 3+ years' experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
  • PE License or ability to become licensed.
  • Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
