Job summary

Aerospace Welding Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to handle intermediate design and analysis tasks, develop components using CAD, and support testing and documentation. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability of products.

You will contribute to design reviews, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and help improve cost efficiency and producibility while communicating findings clearly across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 2–4 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

  • Develop moderately complex mechanical component and subsystem designs using CAD and engineering analysis tools
  • Analyze engineering data and test results to evaluate system performance and feasibility
  • Support design improvements that enhance reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation including engineering drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Participate in design reviews and engineering problem-solving discussions
  • Support troubleshooting of mechanical systems and assist with root-cause analysis
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to support product development
  • Support estimating of new products utilizing cost based quoting methods

Key Responsibilities

Performs intermediate mechanical engineering assignments related to product design, system analysis, and mechanical component development. Contributes to engineering projects by developing design solutions, supporting testing activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.

Key Deliverables of the Position
