Qualifications

• 0–2 years of mechanical design experience; internships or co-ops preferred.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling of mechanical components (SolidWorks preferred).
• Knowledge of engineering documentation and drafting standards.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations in solid mechanics and thermal systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing components and subassemblies using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
• Support validation and testing activities, including basic mechanical and thermal analysis.
• Document test results, design notes, and engineering changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
• Work with production and quality teams to address basic engineering issues.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and ISO guidelines.
• Contribute to product cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
