KONE Moline, IL is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to support the Modernization Team with design, review, and implementation of modernization solutions. You will work under the Modernization Engineering Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, manufacturing, and vendors.

The role requires a BSME, 1–3 years of engineering experience (internships considered), and strong CAD skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 1–3 years of engineering experience (relevant internships considered).
• Proficiency with CAD software and the ability to read, interpret, and create engineering drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop standard mechanical modernization solutions, drawings and engineering packages using CAD software.
• Review modernization projects to ensure technical compliance with project specifications, codes, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
• Perform engineering analyses and calculations related to component design, structural integrity, and mechanical system performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, manufacturing, purchasing, and vendors to support project execution and special design requirements.
• Generate bills of material, technical documentation, and compatibility reviews while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and field installations as needed.
