Harvey Nash is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I – Field Service Engineer to support daily system-level investigations for the Prime Air Drone system at North Randall, OH. This onsite role involves troubleshooting drone issues, root cause analysis, and deploying solutions to improve reliability.

Qualifications

Summary:

We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer I / Field Service Engineer to supportdaily system-level investigations for the Prime Air Drone system at commercialoperations sites. Description:

The Field Service Engineer will work closely with operations and engineeringteams to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Prime Air drone systems. The rolerequires hands-on technical investigation, system-level troubleshooting, rootcause analysis, and rapid implementation of solutions to safely return dronesto service. The engineer will also assist with the deployment and commissioningof equipment at new drone delivery sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and investigate drone system issues occurring during commercialoperations.
• Perform system-level diagnostics and root cause analysis.
• Develop and implement solutions to improve drone reliability andavailability.
• Support new drone delivery site launches and equipment provisioning.
• Program, configure, test, and validate site equipment.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and technical teams to resolvefield issues.
• Document troubleshooting activities, findings, and corrective actions.
• Travel to operational sites as required.
• Follow safety procedures and engineering standards while performing fieldactivities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineeringdiscipline.
• Experience with mechanical/electromechanical systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and resolving hardware/systemissues.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite and travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with drones, robotics, aerospace, aviation, or autonomous systems.
• Experience with field service engineering or production support.
• Experience with electrical/electronic systems and hardware testing.
• Experience with programming, scripting, or equipment configuration.
• Experience supporting new site launches, equipment installation, orcommissioning.
• Experience working in a high-volume operations environment.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximumfor this position is $35 to $38/hour.
