Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must be a US Citizen
• 3+ years of mechanical design, analysis, and testing experience.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks and PDM/PLM systems.
• Experience creating and releasing complex models, drawings, and assemblies.
• Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and drafting standards.
• Hands-on experience with hardware builds, assembly and integration.
• Experience with mechanical/environmental testing (thermal, vibration, shock).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and document complex mechanical systems, assemblies, and components.
• Manage CAD data and configuration using PLM software.
• Develop drawings, specs, and BOMs meeting ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
• Perform design trade studies, tolerance analysis, material selection.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure producible, cost-effective designs.
• Participate in prototype builds, assembly, and troubleshooting.
• Support testing at component and system level (environmental testing).
• Work cross-functionally to integrate systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design, test, and build processes.
