Job summary

Knightwerx seeks a drive-oriented Mechanical Engineer to lead final development, validation, and market launch of the Darqmatter handheld sensor device. You will own the product design through EVT/DVT to mass production, ensuring regulatory compliance and reliable performance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience with handheld electronics, strong CAD skills, and hands-on testing aptitude for high-volume consumer devices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience launching handheld or portable consumer electronics.
• Mastery of 3D CAD modeling and detailed 2D drawings using ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
• Deep understanding of plastics, injection molding, sealing, and related manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with test plans, data processing, and troubleshooting failures.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete Technical Data Package (TDP) including 3D models and 2D prints for production readiness.
• Establish GD&T, CTQ dimensions, and tolerances for high-volume components.
• Manage ECOs and product documentation within PLM; coordinate with manufacturing partners.
