Job summary

PPM Technologies Holdings LLC designs customized, large-scale food manufacturing equipment in an office setting with hands-on collaboration from engineering and project management teams. The role focuses on coating drums, powder dispensing and liquid spray equipment, ensuring proper integration with other systems.

The designer will test and quality-check equipment, travel to customer sites for startup support, and provide technical assistance with help from the service department.

Qualifications

• BSME diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of food processing or related product lines and general knowledge of a custom machinery environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design customized large-scale food manufacturing equipment to customer specifications.
• Focus on coating drums, powder dispensing and liquid spray equipment.
• Work with other Engineers and Project Managers to ensure equipment fits and operates together.
• Test and quality check designed equipment once built.
• Travel to customer site to assist with equipment startup.
• Provide technical support to customers with help from the Service department.
• Support the manufacturing organization and other duties as assigned.
