Job summary

ASRC Federal Advanced Research (AFAR) “BadgerWorks” Facility in Grantsburg, WI is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to support government programs on-site. Mid-level experience (2-4 years) with BS in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks, and FEA is required.

Candidate will prototype using additive and subtractive methods, document progress thoroughly, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver innovative solutions for warfighters and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with related coursework.
• Experience with GD&T, FEA and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Creo or SolidWorks and Windchill or CM systems.
• Experience with additive manufacturing and manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions for government and internal projects.
• Use Creo, Windchill and FEA tools to design and analyze components.
• Prototype rapidly including additive and subtractive methods in an AS9100 environment.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver results.
