Job summary

Constellium is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to manage technical support for manufacturing equipment and processes. You will document intellectual property, support ongoing operations, and lead improvements in uptime, reliability, and throughput.

The role requires five to eight years of maintenance engineering experience, AutoCAD proficiency, and strong root cause analysis skills. CMMS/SAP experience and knowledge of cranes, hydraulics, and rotating equipment are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Five to eight years of mechanical (maintenance) engineering experience.
• AutoCAD experience required.
• Experience with cranes, hydraulics, pumps, and rotating equipment.
• CMMS experience, preferably SAP.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably metals.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical solutions to improve equipment uptime, capability, reliability and throughput.
• Provide technical support to maintenance operations to improve troubleshooting of equipment and process failures.
• Create effective equipment strategies to enable cost-effective maintenance.
• Provide technical ownership of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Provide leadership and technical expertise for Capex projects and biannual outages.
• Mentor salary and hourly personnel to improve the team’s understanding of mechanical systems.
• Improve equipment performance and reliability through planned projects and input from operators and maintenance staff.
• Develop long-term solutions and mitigation plans for major root causes of equipment breakdowns.
