Create a commercially practical, technically sufficient, and economically sound design for an assigned product or unit based on predetermined mechanical characteristics. Responsible for performance requirements, weight and dimensional limits, and the working relationship of various design elements.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, and talk or hear. Occasionally lift/move up to 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Indoor office setting; occasional work on the plant floor.
