Job summary

You will lead mechanical design for electronic cabinets, power distribution, and harnessing, with emphasis on manufacturability and integration testing across module and system levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level engineering degree required.
• Experience in mechanical design of electronic cabinets and racks.
• Proficiency with NX or similar 3D CAD tools and Teamcenter for design data management.
• Experience with sheet metal design and DFM for low-to-medium volume products.
• Ability to design electrical infrastructure including power distribution and harnessing.
• Knowledge of wiring and schematic diagrams; familiarity with NEC, NFPA 79, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and document electrical infrastructure including power distribution, interconnects, and electronic enclosures.
• Develop test tooling and perform V&V of product requirements.
• Plan and execute component, sub-module, and system-level integration and testing.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and design decisions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.
