Job summary

Prudent Technologies and Consulting, Inc. is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer based in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate should possess a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, pass the F.E. exam, and be certified as an Engineer-in-Training by the State of Texas.

This role includes supervising Mechanical Designers and Interns, working in a team environment, and managing multiple projects, demonstrating excellent detail-oriented skills and communication abilities. Occasional travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite


• Knowledge of building codes


• Previous experience in a MEP consulting environment


• Experience in the design of HVAC systems, temperature controls, central plant design, and indoor air quality, as well as other mechanical systems for commercial buildings
