Job summary

Wylie Engineering in Houston, TX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to assist on large projects under the guidance of a Senior Engineer, performing heating/cooling load estimates, HVAC sizing, and Revit modeling. You will contribute to complete mechanical system designs on smaller projects and verify code compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a degree in mechanical engineering, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. EIT/PE Texas preferred and a drive for growth.

Qualifications

Job description

As a Mechanical Engineer you will work with the guidance and supervision of a Senior Engineer on large projects performing tasks such as calculating heating/cooling load estimates, HVAC system sizing and selection, and modeling systems in Revit. Additionally, you will be expected to work under supervision of a Project Manager leading the complete design of mechanical systems on a variety of smaller projects, including specification for engineered systems or products for a project verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience.
