Job summary

Modula Inc. seeks a mechanical engineer to contribute to development, design, detailing, analysis, and production support of its products. You will participate in R&D, create drawings, BOMs, routings, and cost estimates, and collaborate with purchasing and production teams.

This role covers machine programming, QA procedures, field support, and providing technical guidance to Sales and Customer Care. You will work on customer projects, prepare installation drawings, manuals, and spare parts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Creo, Windchill, and SAP is preferred.
• Good communication in cross-cultural environments; Italian language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design components and assemblies, create fabrication/assembly drawings, BOMs, routings, cost estimates, testing, and documentation.
• Assist production planning and purchasing on make/buy decisions.
• Provide on-site training and generate machine programs for the production of parts.
• Provide technical support to Production, Customer Care, and Sales; assist with product applications and field modifications.
• Prepare installation drawings and manuals, and assemble spare parts listings for customers.
• Collaborate with peers and ensure timely, accurate design information.
