Job summary

Synthires is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to support a project focused on developing AI-enabled engineering tools. You will apply your expertise in mechanical design, 3D CAD, and FEA to help train and validate AI systems.

No prior AI experience is required; your domain knowledge matters. Responsibilities include creating detailed CAD models, interpreting drawings with tight tolerances, performing stress analyses, and documenting component requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Strong experience with 3D CAD modeling and FEA.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, NX, Creo, or CATIA.
• Ability to interpret and produce detailed technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong understanding of stress analysis, FEA principles, and engineering validation.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D CAD models of mechanical components using SolidWorks, NX, Creo, or CATIA.
• Interpret technical drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
• Document component requirements, specifications, and manufacturing tolerances.
• Provide insights on stress analysis and FEA tasks.
• Review and improve CAD outputs and technical documentation.
• Provide expert feedback to evaluate and improve AI-generated engineering outputs.
