Job summary

Bluefors in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the engineering team. The role involves supporting manufacturing, quality and production by developing products, maintaining documentation, and leading design projects for core product lines.

CAD design, 3D modeling, and drafting experience are essential to create and maintain BOMs, manuals, and drawings. You will work closely with Engineering, Production and Quality teams to ensure up-to-date documentation and strong product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with CAD, 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
• Familiar with BOMs, product documentation and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain engineering documentation (manuals, work instructions, BOMs).
• Lead design projects for core product lines and new development.
• Generate and maintain 3D models, 2D schematics, and production drawings (Inventor).
• Support manufacturing, quality and production by providing documentation and drawings.
• Participate in audits and sustain the Quality Management System.
