Job summary

Company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – BIM to join a remote team. The ideal candidate combines solid mechanical engineering knowledge with hands-on BIM experience and the ability to support, test, and improve engineering software solutions.

The role collaborates with Product, Software Development, and QA teams, providing technical support, training, and product demonstrations to customers and internal teams while staying current with Autodesk Revit MEP and BIM industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional Mechanical Engineering experience with BIM.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Strong knowledge of BIM methodologies, workflows, standards.
• Experience with MEP and/or Fire Protection projects.
• Experience with software testing, validation, QA, or defect reporting is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Test BIM software for quality, accuracy, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and technical testing of BIM software to ensure quality, accuracy, and reliability.
• Validate software features against mechanical engineering requirements and BIM industry standards.
• Identify, document, and report software bugs, defects, and technical issues.
• Collaborate with Software Development and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve reported issues.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer inquiries related to BIM software.
• Conduct product demonstrations, customer onboarding sessions, and technical training.
• Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and technical documentation.
• Verify BIM workflows and ensure compatibility with Autodesk Revit standards and engineering practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering, with strong experience in BIM.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Strong understanding of BIM methodologies, workflows, standards, and coordination processes.
• Hands-on experience with MEP and/or Fire Protection projects.
• Strong knowledge of Revit Families, templates, and project standards.
• Experience with software testing, validation, QA, or defect reporting is highly preferred.
• Experience providing technical support, troubleshooting, or resolving software-related issues.
• Experience delivering technical training, product demonstrations, or customer onboarding.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
