Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience level aligned to associate, professional, or senior engineer placement.
• Working knowledge of mechanical design, power transmission, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
• Ability to work on the plant floor around operating equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, reliable operation of high-volume manufacturing machinery and systems
• Lead mechanical design, modification, and installation projects from concept through startup
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and drive root cause and corrective action efforts
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies with maintenance teams
• Prepare drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and capital project justifications
• Coordinate contractors and vendors during equipment installations and upgrades

Mechanical Engineer (Associate, Professional, Senior)

Location: Graniteville, SC

Shift/Schedule: Full-time, onsite, day shift with occasional support for production needs

Pay/Compensation: $70,000 – $130,000 per year

A fast-paced, safety-first production facility with consistent growth is adding Mechanical Engineers at the associate, professional, and senior levels. Engineers will keep high-volume manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently while driving projects that improve reliability and cost. The ideal candidate enjoys solving real equipment problems on the plant floor and seeing projects through from design to startup. Associate candidates bring strong fundamentals and eagerness to learn, while senior candidates bring proven project leadership and the ability to mentor others in a demanding production setting.

Core Responsibilities

• Support safe, reliable operation of high-volume manufacturing machinery and systems
• Lead mechanical design, modification, and installation projects from concept through startup
