Job summary

Concorde Battery Corporation in West Covina seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize mechanical components for aerospace-grade rechargeable batteries. You will work with the engineering team to create robust, lightweight, and vibration-resistant designs that meet FAA/Military certification requirements and OEM standards.

The role is full-time, on-site, with time split between the office and the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in aerospace or battery systems.
• SolidWorks proficiency and ability to translate concepts into drawings.
• Travel flexibility when needed; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design components and/or batteries from concept to production based on requirements.
• Design, develop, and improve assembly tooling.
• Troubleshoot fabrication and assembly issues.
• Use SolidWorks to develop models and detailed drawings for aerospace-grade manufacturing.
• Ensure designs comply with FAA, Military, and OEM standards and constraints.
• Learn the product line and become proficient with all products and applications.
