Jamco Interiors in Everett, WA is looking for a Lavatory Design Engineer. The role involves designing lavatory systems for commercial aircraft, ensuring compliance with FAA and EASA regulations, and collaborating with various engineering teams. Candidates should have a BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering along with significant experience in aerospace lavatory design.
The position also requires proficiency in CAD software and involves responsibilities like overseeing structural design modifications and supporting prototype testing and qualification activities.
This position is responsible for working on assigned Aerospace Lavatory design and modification activities in the engineering department utilizing established modeling and design standards. The Lavatory Design Engineer will support design and development of engineering packages based on customer and OEM requirements for production, retrofit applications and product development.
This job may have some supervisory responsibilities when acting in the role of Lead Engineer and as delegated by the Functional Manager.
