Job summary

Acara Solutions in Fremont, CA seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to design and analyze mechanical systems, components, and packaging solutions. You will create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings, and participate in design reviews during prototype development.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, conduct feasibility studies, testing, and validation, and help bring concepts from design through prototype development. This is a 2‑year on‑site contract with regular on‑site engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of 3D CAD modeling, assemblies, and drawings.
• 2+ years applying GD&T, drafting standards, and design analysis.
• 2+ years testing, validation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• 2+ years of experience applying GD&T principles, mechanical drafting standards, and mechanical design analysis.
• 2+ years of experience supporting testing, validation, troubleshooting, and cross‑functional engineering collaboration.

Additional Information:

• Interview Process: 1‑2 hour phone interview followed by a 3‑hour on‑site interview, including a presentation.
