• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support machine, equipment, and process improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
• Design and develop installation drawings, layouts, and engineering documentation using CAD software.
• Assist with relocation, installation, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.
• Coordinate project activities with maintenance, operations, engineering teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Lead contractor meetings to review project specifications, drawings, and installation requirements.
• Obtain project quotations, evaluate vendor proposals, and manage contractor relationships.
• Order parts, equipment, and supplies required for engineering projects.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, throughput, and capacity.
• Maintain project documentation, work orders, and engineering records.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience leading and supporting equipment installation and process improvement projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• SME certification preferred.
• Experience with contractor management, coordination, and negotiations.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience utilizing:
