As a Mechanical Engineer, you will have a key role in supporting the design, analysis, component specification, integration and commissioning of facilities required for 21st century energetic material and Solid Rocket Motor manufacturing. Specifically, you will join a multi-disciplinary team responsible for all aspects of requirement verifications, upgrade and anomaly resolution, design, analysis, test, and deployment of hardware and control sub-systems related to a disruptive new method for nitrocellulose production. You will know you\'re successful in this role when you\'ve identified blockers, guided processes to address anomalies and performance shortfalls, verified requirements are satisfied and you\'ve delivered on the agreed upon master schedule while adhering to environmental and safety best practices. To thrive in this role, you must have demonstrated success in fluid mechanics analysis, mechanical design, thermal/stress analysis, and test with an aptitude for hands-on definition of industrial CONOPS and commissioning of complex industrial/chemical systems.
