Job summary

ASR International Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide design technical support for NAVFAC Northwest. The engineer will support HVAC, plumbing, and related mechanical systems design for large federal facilities projects.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least six years of design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit. U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a security background check are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of design management and/or design experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with HVAC and plumbing system design.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD 2022 and/or Revit 2021 and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship required (Green Card holders are not eligible to apply).
  • Must be able to pass a T1 security background check.

  • Evaluate designs involving chilled water systems, DOAS, VAV, VRF, and controls.
  • Review design documents, calculations, RFIs, and submittals for DoD UFC compliance.

  • Prepare technical reports and support project status reporting.

ASR International Corporation Location: Puget Sound – Bremerton Area, WA Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary ASR International Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide Design Technical Support services for NAVFAC Northwest. The Mechanical Engineer will support HVAC, plumbing, and related mechanical systems design for large federal facilities projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and support design of HVAC and plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects (typically >$20M construction value) and POL systems (>$10M).
  • Evaluate designs involving variable primary chilled water systems, chillers, DOAS, VAV, VRF, HVAC controls, domestic water, compressed air, and medical gas systems.
  • Review design documents, calculations, RFIs, and submittals for compliance with DoD UFC and applicable codes.
  • Provide technical recommendations and coordinate with multi-discipline teams.
  • Prepare technical reports and support project status reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
