Job summary

The Best Job Board is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and integrate systems for heavy mobile machinery from concept to production release. You will create CAD models and production drawings, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with manufacturing teams to support builds, testing, and design improvements.

Candidates should have a bachelor's in mechanical engineering and 3–7 years of relevant design experience, with strong CAD skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 3–7 years of mechanical design experience in machinery, mobile equipment, or industrial systems.
• Proficiency with a 3D CAD system and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job description

Design and integrate mechanical systems and components for heavy mobile machinery, taking projects from initial concepts through prototype testing and production release. Create CAD models and production drawings, troubleshoot engineering issues, and collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to support builds, testing, and design improvements.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 3-7 years of mechanical design experience in machinery, mobile equipment, or industrial systems are required. Candidates must be proficient in a 3D CAD system and demonstrate design, analysis, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills; experience with FEA, hydraulics, or electrical routing is preferred.
