Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work on some of the country\'s biggest and most exciting data center projects. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for large-scale data center projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct detailed analyses and calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Oversee and review mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical engineering challenges to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on data center projects.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing mechanical systems for large-scale facilities.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical engineering and data centers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Day-to-Day
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders via virtual meetings to discuss project progress and address challenges.
  • Review and refine mechanical designs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with project requirements.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to validate system designs.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project milestones and provide regular updates to the project management team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise during the design and implementation phases.
