Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will design manufacturing drawings to customer specifications for custom web handling jobs. This includes reviewing documentation, determining accurate design requirements, setting up preliminary routings, producing shop‑floor drawings, creating BOMs for purchasing and production, and performing project management duties throughout job completion. The Engineer will work closely with the Engineering and Sales teams to innovate design ideas and new machinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; Associate’s Degree with adequate experience considered.
• Minimum 3‑5+ years of related experience in web handling, paper, converting, or similar industries.
• SolidWorks proficiency preferred; candidates with experience in other 3D software acceptable.
• Strong technical knowledge or ability to learn machining and manufacturing procedures and practices.

We offer a full‑time, direct hire opportunity with a well‑established organization in the Green Bay area. Standard working hours are Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am‑4:00 pm but very flexible. Salary is based on experience, $75 k – $100 k per year and up.
