Job summary

Actalent in New York is seeking an experienced MEP Design Engineer to lead design and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for commercial and institutional projects.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and CAD operators to develop detailed layouts and ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and project schedules. A Bachelor's in mechanical or electrical engineering and 5–10 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5-10 years of MEP design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD essential; a P.E. or E.I.T. credential is strongly preferred.
