Job summary

AV is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, install, modify, analyze, repair and test electronic systems for state-of-the-art Electronic Warfare platforms. This role sits on a design team covering concepts through detailed design, building and testing the systems while supporting the company’s mechanical R&D efforts.

You will lead complex mechanical designs, prepare documentation, run experiments, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and travel up to 25%

• Interfaces with appropriate departments to ensure design specifications meet or exceed all applicable regulatory standards.
• Develops product performance testing; incorporates required design changes to address problem resolution.
• Interfaces with outside vendors as required.
• Interacts and collaborates effectively with internal and external team members to assure needs of the company are met.
• Possibility of up to 25% traveling.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

The Mechanical Engineer applies engineering techniques to design, install, modify, analyze, repair and test electronic systems and components. This individual will be a part of a design team focused on development of the state-of-the-art Electronic Warfare systems. This includes all levels and facets of design from conceptual clear through the detailed design and will include building and testing of these systems. Supports the company’s mechanical research and development efforts.

• Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
• Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering/technical specialization.
• Ability to obtain US Security clearance.

The Salary Range For This Role Is

$91,000 - $138,750
